SCHOOL IS OUT!!!!!! I dont know if I should smile or cry. I am sure by the end of June I will be crying. But anywho the last week of school was fast and furious. I was helping at Sierra`s school everyday this week. They had an awards ceremony on Wednesday and Sierra got an Award of Excellence in Science (can you believe that) She was so excited. Ryan took the afternoon off and went with me that made it even better for here. Halie was glad to be out and not be a fish anymore. We are going to put her in the coaches drivers training course as soon as she turns 15. Cant wait for that (JOKE JOKE).
The kids and their friends were able to leave extra early from school on Friday so we headed up to Muenster around noon. To say it was a soggy Memorial weekend is putting it lightly. But we got thru it. We had a really good time, some of Ryans riding buddies and spouses came along.
One of his friends as a little motorcycle just the size for Sierra and she has been throwing a fit to ride a bike like daddies for ever so Daryl put her on it and and the first thing she did was punch the gas she did a wheelie and ran right in the the front corner of the motor home dragging Daryl all the way. She was scared but not hurt. It turned out to be a good thing because she wont be bugging us to buy her a motorcycle anytime soon. It rained on and off all day Saturday but we were able to get in some riding time. Saturday night it came a flood and the creek got up to like a small rapid. So Sunday we let the kids go swimming in it, It was only knee deep so they had a good time. Sunday evening we all decided to take a ride together and I let Charlie ride my four wheeler so I hopped on the back or Ryan BAD IDEA he decided to try to cross that creek that was up and you guessed we got sank it. We had to pull it out of the river and back up to the camper and it took at least an hour for them to drain everything and get it started again. Monday while we were getting everything ready go home we let the kids go ride around and Halie and Brooke got the four wheelers stuck in what seemed like quick sand. We had to shovel out the mud with our hands and the two shovels we had. Needless to say we were not too happy with them. We had just put clean clothes on and had cleaned the motorhome. But I guess we can laugh about it now.
Sierra is headed off to Church camp until Tuesday. I am taking Halie and a few friends to the movies today while Sierra and I o and shop for some summer clothes. Not sure whats in store for the week-end, I just hope it doesnt rain. We got an inch and a half yesterday in about 2 hours.
Pictures are of the kids playing in the mud on the bikes, Sierra and Stacee (before they got dirty, Halie and Brooke, Ryan and I, and the kids playing in the flooded creek (they are sitting on their butts)
