Its a rainy cold day here in Pilot Point and it seems to be that way a lot lately.
Back to the weekend of the 9th and 10th, Saturday morning we all got up very early to go to Waco to ride motorcycles. Sierra brought a friend and we dropped Halie off to spend the day with Jordan and his family. Sunday Ryan and I spent the morning in Denton ,we picked out a patio table that matches the couch and chairs set we have on the patio then picked up some groceries because I cooked dinner for Kim Sunday night for her birthday. We rarely get to see each other so it was wonderful getting to catch up. Mitch,Miranda and Tripp came over for dinner and the girls and I got to play with Tripp for a while.
On Tuesday Halie had a tennis game in Little Elm, she won all three games. Thursday after taking Halie to school I took Ryan and Sierra to visit the new school. At first she was very hesitant to go in and stay but after about 5 minutes she didnt want to leave. She went into a classroom while Ryan and I visited with Mellisa the principle. While Ryan was talking to her and getting some questions answered I got emotional about the whole thing. I cant even put into words how hopeful I am about this school. This place has been a blessing for us. We have waited for so long for a answer to our prayers. And everytime I go up to Sierras school and watch the kids in her classes I am even more convienced we are doing the right thing. And since the word has gotten out that she is leaving I have had two more teachers come up and say that we were doing the right thing for her and thats always a plus. Sierra wants to start now instead of waiting till September. I took Sierra back to school so she could go to the Valentine party.
That afternoon Jordan came up to see Halie for V- day he sent her some gorgeous flowers and took her out for dinner. We also went out to dinner for V-day.
Friday Ryan and some of his friends went to east Texas to camp and ride, and I bet you all remember how wonderful the weather was that weekend (not). It was cold and rainy all weekend. They all stayed in the motorcycle trailer, guess you know why we didnt go. Saturday we met Mitch,Miranda and Tripp for lunch in Frisco then Seirra had a Birthday party to go to in Pilot Point. Afterwards Halie and I drove to Denton and had a late dinner. Sunday we stayed home and waited for Ryan to come home. And he was exhausted when he got home. One of the guys locked his keys in his truck after they got back so we had a long evening waiting to straighted that out. Tuesday night we let Sierra spent some of her birthday money and let her pick a place to eat for her upcoming B-day.
Wednesday was Sierras birthday, I cooked her favorite dinner and backed a cake for her. We decided to get her a cell phone for her birthday. We are going to get rid of the house phone so we thought we all needed one. She has been begging for one for over a year. And you know me I had to trick her, so I put a braclet in the box the phone came in and then put the phone in a plain box. So you can image when she unwrapped the phone box and saw a bracelet inside it. Needless to say she was a little disappointed. And as she reached for the plain box I called her phone and it started ringing it took her about 30 seconds to figure it out. It was hilarious and I got it all on tape.
Ryans stock market class starts Saturday and Halie has a tournement in Lake Dallas Friday so we will have another busy weekend.

Pictures are Tripp playing at the house, Halie and Jordan on V-day, This is the first time Sierra has rode her dirt bike down a trail and not just in the wode open (dad is behind her). Sierra and Halie will all their V-day goodies, Sierra getting her phone (or thinking she is getting a phone, which she does later)
Have a great weekend.
