I cant believe I haven`t posted in a month. And my memory being with it is I will try to highlight the last 4 weeks.
We actually spent the last weekend of February at home, can you believe it?
The next week Ryan drove to LA. and when he drove back Thursday he met us in Grapevine and Ryan Sierra and I got on a plane for Colorado for a long week end at the cabin.
After we got on the plane (which felt like an oven) we soon were told that we were leaking something from the bottom of the plane. And we were happy to take a tram to the other side of the airport to get on another plane. We finally took of a little over a hour and a half behind schedule. And got to the cabin a little before midnight. Ryan and I got in two good days of skiing and Sierra got in some mommy and daddy time. We left Sunday afternoon and drove to Colorado Springs to spend sometime with Ryans cousins family and flew back Monday.
The next weekend Ryan had a race and the whole family went. Ryan was doing really well until her wrecked and fell on a cactus. OUCH!!! he pulled out quills for days after.
This passed week was spring break, Monday aunt Barbara got sick, took a fall and ended up in the hospital for a few days so Miranda and I drove in to see her and make sure she was o.k..
And we left Tuesday for camping and riding for the rest of the week. We had a great time with lots of friends and plenty of fun. Until Saturday afternoon Ryan, James and I took a final ride. I wanted to show James how good I have gotten since the last time I rode with him. Anyway took a tumble and knew right away I had done some damage to my ankle. Kim took me home, took some pain meds, iced it and hoped it would be better then next day but I was wrong. Ryan took me to the E.R. Sunday and luckily it wasnt broken and I had only torn one of the three tendons that run across my ankle. So I was suppose to stay off of it, wear a brace, and use crutches for least a week but Im afraid it will be longer I seem to heal much slower than the average Joe. But then I went for a regular check up with my regular Dr. and she did not agree with the ER dr.s diag. she feels that I have a torn achellies tendon as well and wants we to wear a boot for about two weeks and then I have to go back and see her for another xray. She thinks its much worse than what the other dr. thought and could actually have a small fracture that didnt show up because of all the swelling . I felt so sorry for Ryan, he has had to unload and clean the motorhome and bike trailer and do all the laundry. I think he appreciates me more
pictures are of camping trip, skiing.Halie playing tennis, and Ryans race.
Hope everyone is well.
